Activating your license key

Your license key enables automatic plugin updates through WordPress. Entering it takes about 30 seconds.

Where to find your license key

Your key was sent in the purchase confirmation email from swiftcheckout.io. Look for a line that reads:

XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

If you can’t find the email, check your spam folder. Still nothing? Contact support@swiftcheckout.io with your order details and we’ll resend it.

How to enter your key

1. Open the License settings

In your WordPress admin sidebar, go to Swift Checkout → License.

2. Paste your key

Click the License key field and paste your key. Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after it — copy-paste from the email directly rather than typing it manually.

3. Save

Click Save license key. The page will refresh and you’ll see a confirmation badge next to the field:

License key saved

That’s it — your installation is now linked to your license.

What the license key does

The license key authenticates your site with swiftcheckout.io so you receive automatic plugin updates. When a new version is released, it appears in Dashboard → Updates alongside your other plugins — no manual downloads required.

The key does not restrict any plugin functionality. All features work whether or not a key is entered, but without a key you won’t receive update notifications.

One key, one site

Each license covers a single WordPress installation. To run Swift Checkout on additional sites, purchase additional licenses at swiftcheckout.io.
